The highest honor she has received was in caring for Doreene Clement for almost four years prior to her passing. When Doreene knew she was ready to leave her journey in this life she also knew she wanted The 5 Year Journal to live on. She entrusted Sandy with the publishing and copyrights to The 5 Year Journal. Doreene knew and had faith that Sandy would honor her work and would help to keep the legacy of The 5 Year Journal alive.
