History of The 5 Year Journal
First Edition 1999 - 2006
The original edition of The 5 Year Journal published by Doreene Clement, had a beautiful leatherette-like cover with copper embossed title on the cover and the spine. The back cover had a copper embossed 5YJ logo on the bottom.
The interior content pages were printed on a light ivory color acid-free paper.
It included a satin ribbon page marker.
The size of the book cover was 11-3/4" tall by 7-3/4" wide and the interior pages were 10-1/2" tall by 7-1/4" wide.
In January 2000, 15,000 copies of this edition was published, printed, warehoused, marketed and distributed directly by DKC Enterprises, LTD and Doreene Clement.

Second Edition 2006-2012
The second edition of The 5 Year Journal by Doreene Clement was by an on-demand publisher, and actually had to different covers. They were referred to as the Feminine Version and the Male Version. The interior content pages were the same; however, due to material costs, they were printed on standard white paper and there was no satin ribbon page marker.
This version was a bit smaller in size. The book cover was 10-1/2" tall by 7-1/4" wide. The cover had a glossy finish over the artwork. The interior pages had the same identical content as the original version but were 10" tall by 7" wide.

The cover is close to the same color as the original edition but has a glossy cover similar to the second edition. The back cover has content with questions. The interior content pages will remain the same as both the original and second editions. However; like the second edition, it is printed on standard white paper and there is no satin ribbon page marker.
